Armbruster T Hawthorne has adventures
I need a new Armbruster icon, because I think it's clear now that Armbruster has outgrown my original concept of him as a Magical Negro for Hire and has become an Adventuring Badass with Electropistols.
Below, Armbruster could see the distant shapes of men, bounding over the ground as effortlessly as gazelles, the occasional coppery reflection flashing from their legs. Behind him, Shufeng swore, and explosive string of sounds that had to be cursing, even if Armbruster didn't understand the language.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Swift runners," Shufeng replied tersely. He leaned over the rail and cursed again. "Too high to see what nation they're with."
"But surely they're no threat to us?"
Shufeng shook his head. "Nobody uses swift runners to organize a welcome party. We're flying into trouble if we don't change course."
