I am still struggling with writers block

But I just spent the past two hours explaining plot/backstory/character relationships in the piece I'm currently struggling with in terms of "well, they took out the healer, and that split the tank and DPS up", and I actually think the story arc makes the most sense that way.

Gotta remember Feist sold a lot of books that were basically a d&d campaign with the serial numbers filed off; don't knock it if it works :D

I wrote nearly 2000 words of "this is why relationships are like the holy trinity of tank, heals, and DPS in raid". And I have a much better idea of what the story is and - ironically given my recent posts - what the THEME of the story is now.

Sometimes if that's the idea you have, go with what works, right? And that makes sense to me.

Considering my brain thinks in gaming terms, I keep thinking I should give LitRPG a try, but then I get put off by the "stats and tables" portion of the fanbase.
