I'm tempted to do something dumb

Specifically, I'm tempted to play at Camp NaNoWriMo. Only I suspect the minute I sign up for anything WriMo shaped, Impalabot will drive off into the night never to be seen again.

Speaking of dumb things, I came home and watched Bayformers 2, and am I a bad fan if I admit I can't tell most of the robots apart unless they're in their alt modes? I mean, there's Optimus, there's Bee, and then there's this undifferentiated mass of who-the-fuck-are-these-robots-I-don't-even. (I admit it, I have trouble telling Bay!Megatron from Bay!Starscream. Definitely a bad fan.)

I just blame Bayverse for that. I can never tell what's going on in the battle scenes, and I think if it's even remotely possible to confuse Megatron and Starscream, they're doing it wrong.

...but then, I didn't like the first movie and only watched bits of the second one.

I actually liked the first movie; it was very pretty, and it did not suffer from "let's just make a bunch of robots and then randomly assign G1 names to them," which 2 so very much did, and Jazz was a Pontiac. But except for Optimus and Bee, who are differentiated by their color schemes, I can't tell anyone apart unless they're standing next to each other for comparison; I sure as HELL can't tell them apart during battle sequences, even to the point of telling who's on which side.

[solemn] Bee is yellow, Ratchet is neon chartreuse green, Ironhide is black, Prime is, obviously, Prime, and after that... it turns into an indistinguishable mess. Seriously, I should NOT have problems telling Megatron and Starscream apart. v_v

I am so glad I'm not the only one who can't tell Megs and Starscream apart! I felt like that made me the WORST FAN EVER.

Ratchet is that obnoxious shade of rescue vehicle chartreuse that you see on some firetrucks and ambulances nowadays. As he is a search and rescue hummer. =P

And I have NO idea what they were thinking with the ancient Primes. Possibly crack cocaine had something to do with it.

Crack cocaine is probably a reasonable explanation for everything.

Unfortunately, I've seen it. Apparently it's meant to catch your attention. The fact that it makes you recoil in horror is just an added bonus. =P

I blame the crack. For the cuttlefish AND the neon nightmare.
