*headcock* Y'know, instead of "Don't feed the trolls" or something else glib, I'm going to say that if one's going to pick a fight, tumblr's not a half bad place to do it. There's enough and frequent enough drama that it's basically going to get lost in the general din and besides, trolls are acceptable targets for this purpose, and there's... really no wider-life consequences.

Try to get at least 3hr of sleep? I mean, generally I'm against sleep-loss, but the occasional low-sleep night is acceptable for managing slow-building issues.

(I may have read all the "If you have to not sleep enough, here's how to do it and here's WHY so you can tinker as necessary" manuals when I had access to them. 3-4hr, depending on the length of your sleep cycle - there's individual differences. Or failing that a 40min nap.)

The OP specifically referred to a lack of FEMALE and NON-WHITE and TRANS characters, so hijacking this with "but white cis dudes are still super diverse as long as they are gay!" is only proving the point, isn't it (and also pretty entitled). I mean, yeah, back when I was a teenage dude neck-deep in the closet and living in the middle of nowhere, finding out about and having access to (occasionally porny) fanfic with gay dudes (that had sex, went on adventures, didn't die lonely and alone of AIDS etc) was a revelation to me. Doesn't change the fact that it's still only a fraction of minorities being present in gay white cis dudes and that the other minorities (& possible intersections thereof) get the short end of the stick an estimated 96% of the time. I don't see why that's so hard a concept to understand.
