I've gotten striped eggs from male stripes. My blue and green dragons have white stripe fathers and daydream and vine mothers, respectively. It's just the luck of the draw. (A good thing, too, because I have seven stripes, and all but one males.)

I bred my first white stripe *eight* times before I got a stripe of any color from him. It's only in the past couple of weeks that any of them decided to breed more stripes. I finally got one of each color, so I'm happy.

But you'd think with all the pink eggs flooding the AP they wouldn't breed so many! Prolific little things, those pink dragons!
