dragovianknight: Now is the time we panic - NaNoWriMo (Default)
So this morning I'm in 750 words, writing happy little drabbles for beastwars_100, and then I hit the third drabble and it was all 'OMG what is this no no gah make it stop! DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD:" Which I think means it's probably time for me to sit quietly and not think too hard about what I just wrote (it's what I get for having an unhealthy interest in Silent Hill, a game guaranteed to freak me the fuck out if I'm ever in the same room where it's being played) and wait for a new prompt to show up.

I'll be doing my waiting in the blanket fort, mind you. With cookies.

Mostly, I use Zazzle to make things for myself, and then leave the designs up just in case someone else wants 'em. Which is pretty much never (and you can tell by looking that I don't actually do much of anything with my shop), but apparently today someone else decided they really needed a Knit Happens mouse pad. :D

I still wear the socks in the photo, too. My very first pair. /nostalgia

dragovianknight: Now is the time we panic - NaNoWriMo (BPAL - Obsidian Widow)
Both 13 and Moon of Horses smell spectacular in the bottle, but I can't try either because I essentially bathed in Obsidian Widow this morning (apparently, De Sade has been replaced as my comfort scent).

Shiny new, unscratched, beautiful, completely legal Beast Wars Season One DVDs, that is! :DDDDD

And while I think it's rather bad form to announce IN THE DVD BOX that there's going to be a 9-DVD complete series release this fall, I think it's safe to say I'm fangeek enough to justify buying both versions. XD

Edit: And now I'm just starting the second DVD (Blackarachnia! FINALLY! \o/) and I'm roughly 4" into this sweater (except that I'm knitting it a size smaller in light worsted acrylic on size 9 needles, because I had it on hand and the yarn only cost $9 total, so it's not like I'll be upset if I bugger things, and given that I'm usually cold it's not like a slightly heavier sweater is ever going to waste.), and I'm really remarkably sanguine about it being well after midnight and sleep being nowhere on the horizon.
