On the other hand, I cringed through half the episode. I mean, they did the whole "characters LITERALLY stuck with each other" trope better than most, and I appreciated that Bulkhead and Arcee found ways to make it work for them, but I could have happily given this trope a pass.
Overall, I think it was a wash, with maybe a couple more pluses than minuses. A few times I laughed when I was supposed to, a few times I flinched instead, but nobody became a Maximal against their will and by the end the characters who are supposed to be grown ass adults acted like grown ass adults. Which is frankly more than I've learned to expect from shows aimed at actual adults.
Short form: Didn't LOVE it, but didn't hate it; still watching.
