It all started because...

...I thought, "TKR would have been a better show if there'd been more blood."
Now, mind, I'm not talking about gritty!realistic!violence! here. I'm talking about 70's and 80's style TV blood, where Character is shot/stabbed/caught in an explosion/kidnapped and forcibly addicted to heroin ::waves at Starsky and Hutch::, and we get an hour or two of the other characters indulging in emoporn. H/C, basically, without the need for healing cock, because that wouldn't fly in prime time.
The original Knight Rider knew the value of TV blood; how many times did Michael nearly croak off in KITT's interior?
KITT: Far too many; it was quite bad for my upholstery.
There, you see? And if it wasn't Michael, it was KITT getting blown up or eaten by a pit of toxic waste, or Bonnie getting brainwashed and reprogramming KITT into a killer. Gods, I loved 80s.
::waxes nostalgic for a moment::
Anyway, TKR did not put out in terms of the blood/emoporn combo. The closest it ever came was the teaser for Inside Traitor, where it looked like Erica shot Jenny, but of course, they revealed that Jenny was wearing a vest right after the credits. ::sad dragon:: So you see, TKR was seriously lacking in blood.
So I thought I'd fix that. And it started simply enough, because any fan who can't put someone in the hospital doesn't know what she's doing. And then I thought, "Nefarious doings! Perhaps someone can be all, 'A member of TKR has been dropped into my lap, muahaha!' and kidnap them!"
And then, as I was trying to come up with some thin veneer of logic for the villain of the piece to be working out of a relatively small hospital, I thought, "No, not just any member of TKR, Erica! Because her ex husband is up to Nefarious Doings, and when he discovers she's in the area, he decides he wants her back!"
Yeah. It was pretty much downhill from there. There is now a rigged accident, a kidnapping, drugs and brainwashing involved. :D Sorry, Erica; at least you can take comfort in the fact that to be treated this badly, you must be one of my favorites.
In conclusion, my definition of "fun" makes the imaginary people cry*. In my defense, this all makes at least as much sense as the average episode of TKR, and far more than the episode with that chick who thought Kyle was a reincarnated Mayan queen.
*I suspect this surprises none of you.
