Well. That was unexpected. But cool!

I was knitting at lunch today (on my chunky knit cowl, only instead of using Fisherman's Wool I'm using Suri Dream in Jade and the sadly discontinued Emerald Isle), and Boss#1 was having a Bad Day, so I was like, "Here, pet my yarn and feel better!" Because really, who isn't going to feel better after petting a couple of green tribbles?
And the next thing I know, she's spending nearly $200 on yarn so I can knit her shawls for the winter. 0_0 (She got Tiramisu, Falling Leaves, and Fennel in the hand dyed, and a combination of Natural, Black, and Black Forest in the regular, because for some reason the hand dyed doesn't have a black/white/grey combo; I'm going to try graduated shading with that one, since I think the fuzz will make the effect work really well.) She doesn't like coats because they're too heavy, so hopefully the alpaca will be warm and light enough for her.
I have a LOT of knitting ahead of me. ::rubs hands::
