Why are brains?

As of today, I've broken $1300 in writing revenue for October, which is the best month I've had since I started self-publishing short smut in 2015. (8 shorts, 2 pen names, weird monster smut for the motherfucking win.)

And while I am pleased about it, mostly I'm feeling anxiety over how the hell I'm going to do that again in November. /sigh

I had a big burst of Halloween spirit, so I wrote 3 shorts on Cordova and then a five short monster mpreg series on Rowan Stone. But that is not something I can pull off every month, or even most months.

It's really really good! And I was delighted until my brain coughed up "so, how are you going to do that again NEXT month?" and now I just have anxiety instead of a sense of satisfaction.

Brains are the WORST.
