Going To Hell...Who's Coming With Me?

I wrote over 1600 words on the site today. NONE OF IT WAS ON THE STORY I'M TRYING TO FINISH. I blame raisedbymoogles.

Also, this week on beastwars_100, the prompt is EXPLOSIONS! Come play with us! You know you want to blow shit up (and I'm tired of being the only one posting over there). beastwars_100_lj_feed exists to follow the comm on DW.

It's cold, it's windy, and I have an earache. And I need to be at work at 8am intstead of after noon. :(

Edit: Make that over 2k words. Most of it on a Beast Wars Fantasyland human AU. *headdesk* And now I'm going to bed and you can't stop me.

During my not-drunken (but you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference) ranting about Beast Machines, I said, Also, just once when one of the good guys, for some half-assed reason, goes over to the bad guy's side? And the bad guy is doing the whole seduction-to-the-dark-side, "are you afraid you'll enjoy it?" routine? I would like the good guy to go, "You know, you're right, this is kind of awesome," and blow the bad guy's head off.

To this, I would like to add that the next time someone objects to a perfectly sensible plan for winning with, "But then we're no better than the bad guys!" I would like the answer to be, "Hmm. Moral superiority versus saving thousands of lives. I opt for door number two." Followed by blowing the bad guy's head off and not immediately being corrupted by the horrible evils of practical behavior.

And now if you'll excuse me, I must go contemplate a Beast Machines AU that deviates from the series something like twelve minutes in and has nothing in common with canon besides the setup. As you might guess, this is all raisedbymoogles's fault.

First, it was one of my Beast Wars OCs coming out to play with one of raisedbymoogles' OCs.

And then it was thinking enough about Beast Wars to get all ranty about Blackarachnia's storyline.

And today, I am unreasonably annoyed that AO3 doesn't appear to have any Beast Wars fic at all.

Doomed. Doomed doomed doomed.

And it's all moogle's fault.
